No car needed: in Torres Torres itself, a short walk from Calma Villa, hides one of the best-preserved Arab bathhouses in Spain — a complete 14th-century hammam, a National Monument since 1938, often ranked alongside those of Girona and Palma.
The tour crosses the vestibule and the three vaulted rooms — cold, warm and hot, with their boilers — lit by star-shaped skylights cut into the vaults. When the midday sun pours through them and draws stars of light in the half-dark, you understand why local legend links these baths to the tale of the Moorish queen.
The municipal guided tour is free (about 45 minutes) and also covers the medieval cistern and the Moorish castle crowning the village, with its keep and stretches of wall overlooking the Palancia valley. Complete the walk with the church of Nuestra Señora de los Ángeles, home to a 15th-century Virgin of the Milk, and the old washhouse. The Holy Grail Route passes through here too.
